Just don't get it

i'm bit bothered this... it's fact apple say's used great optics/lenses created phone 4s , implemented tablet... that's wonderful, though why did use 5 mp cam , not if @ least 8 mp cam that's in 4s?

should have had price 8 mp cam's used them in
4s...

well, device, had vent bugged me...
