ipad 2 prices on the release of the 3?

i wasnt paying attention last year cant remember happened prices of ipad 1 when second released.
im looking mum 2 birthday in april, refurbs £340 how expect drop on release of number 3? seem remember ipad 1's going £250 @ 1 point not sure if ive made haha

 

i wouldn't surprised see 16gb wifi ipad2 $299 once 3 comes out.
