I want to be able to move a dock "folder to the "left" area of the dock...

how can that? purchased office mac 2011, , i'd have 1 "office" folder in dock. don't, however, want stay on right side next downloads , trash can. want able move throughout dock normal icon.

how do that? also, how change folder image icon microsoft word?

 

there landing strip indicator separates "left" "right" side of dock. application shortcuts can placed on left side of dock. right side reserved folders , files.

have few options when comes changing appearance of folder. if right click on icon in dock, can select display folder or stack, or view content fan, grid, list, automatic.

if want word, excel, , powerpoint in dock, drag there /applications instead of trying folder left side of dock.
