Hardware Problem, SATA connector

i own macbook pro 15 inch mid 2009.
not boot operating system,
thought hard drive had failed because of it's age.
bought ocz vertex 2 (because buying vertex 3
not advantage of sata 3.0) , installed it.
booted through usb lion 10.7.3 , went disk
utility. tried erase, partition, not
unmount disk. put ssd macbook pro (same
specs , year) , erase , install fine.

when installing put hdd of other macbook pro
first mbp, not boot, stayed on apple
loading screen. held down option , tried boot
windows 7 partition on hard drive, got error saying
there difficulty reading hard drive.

when ssd finished installing put first mbp and
tried boot, stayed on loading screen. @ point knew
nothing wrong hdd or ssd, rather internal hardware. know might causing this? worth try buying owc data doubler , putting ssd there, or wrong logic board? remember booted fine usb installer of lion, wouldn't boot connected via sata cable.

appreciated!

i had same problem. macbook wouldn't (only sometimes) read drive. have optibay , read optibay. send repairs, though out of warranty. apparently damaged cable (phew, not broken logic board!). occurred 3 weeks after installing ssd.

might cable.

p.s. put hard drive in optibay , ssd in old place of hdd. else macbook won't turn on after closing lid.
