Getting real work done with the trackpad

since acquiring mbp, have been using trackpad in effort see how work can done in photoshop/maya without aid of mouse.

far going has been rough. although standard activities word processing , surfing web swift, takes 3 times long model complex in maya , painting wash in photoshop.

i'll getting either small mouse or wacom tablet improve productivity seems trackpad , can't seem jive well.

in meantime, i'm curious, able serious graphic design work done trackpad alone?

 

for graphics related, use mouse. trackpad not designed type of usage. said, it's great normal consumer use though.
