Sloooow Performance...

---- 2011 macbook pro 15" 2.2ghz i7, 8gb 1600mhz ddr3, 750gb hd. ----

i'm getting sluggish performance lately (past 3-4 months) running microsoft product, safari, chrome, mail , parallels 7.

system starts halt when click on anything. on top of youtube videos when in hd won't play in safari in chrome , if play in safari skip , won't load. it's killing me basically.

suggestions or should go see apple swaperoo?

 

how ram have given vm run in parallels desktop?

have @ activity monitor (applications / utilities /) , select all processes , sort cpu see culprit may be.
check "system memory" tab see "page ins:", "page outs:" , "swap used:" are.
