Old iMac with SSD vs new Mini with SSD and dell screen

bought mac year , 2 weeks ago. not starts having brownish spots behind glass. i'm want return , fixed. shop offers 2 year warranty. think harddrive loud , runs slow taste. i'm thinking:
- should maybe repair it, sell , buy me mini 27 inch dell screen? , maybe fit ssd.
- or should find shop prepared fit ssd in mac? (or maybe myself)
problem i'm scared newly fixed screen start show spots again , ssd , maybe not able price if plan sell down road. selling after has been repaired won't buy me mini + 27 inch screen. , mini's should update soon, no?
