Mac book pro 17 hardware repair help

my 2007 mac book pro 17" fall apart. (externally)
need know if 2006 model has same outer shell 2007 model. eyeing decent deal on ebay ut need shell fit.

 

it seem, according google images, 2 casings same. planning transplant entire computer new casing?
