Is it common for MacBook power adapter to break often?


someone know has went through 4 different magsafe plugs on period of 2 years. 2 being old type, , 2 being l type. model 2009 mb, non-unibody.
 

no, it's not common. while there small percentage of defective models, depends on how take care of it. i've been using same magsafe adapter 4 years, , it's still new.
