hello.
have had windows partition awhile, , moving fine. booted mac make new partition. click mac hd, , hit + , created new partition. installed whatever onto partition, , deleted it. can not boot windows anymore. drive not deleted, still there , shows on desktop, boot camp assistant detects it, can set boot device in system preferences if main boot device says no booatable device found (the black screen dos interface). if boot mac , hold down option, windows partition doesn't show.
help?
part of boot camp "wrap" mac's native gpt partition scheme looks mbr (the legacy scheme supported windows).
creating new partition has confused translation. may able fix tools available refit http://refit.sf.net (even without installing refit).
might able use w7's repair wizard fix booting issues assuming that version of windows have installed.
