2011 iMac is having problems unraring big archives...

hello,

need help.
have new 2011 i5 27 inch imac.
has standard 1tb hard drive.

i'm getting real puzzling situation...
i'm getting constant crc errors when decompressing large archives.
download them unison , unison check files , either gives clear or repairs files if needed par2 files.
then, if unison decompresses files, error.
if decompress them myself unrarx, crc errors...

puzzling... did same procedure previous macbook pro , if files couldn't repaired par2, errors.
if unison gave clear, unrar them 0 problems...

can issue here?
please me out.
