very loud fan noise at start up (27 imac 2010

hi using osx 10.7.3 , when start mac in morning fan extremely loud , mac cold. have shut down , unplug minute solve problem.
any1 knows going on? other problem warranty expired on december can still purchase extend warranty?

yes can , apple store possible... bad logic board, or processor @ worst. have tried pram reset? hold option command r , p keys @ same time on startup... if still getting problem, call apple... it's under warrantee so.
