has used cable matters's usb hdmi adapter?
how it? trying connect old macbook hdtv through usb port. , on website says usb hdmi adapter transfer both audio , video computers.
do have use usb this? ask, because there easier ways it. if macbook you're talking mbp in signature, need minidp - hdmi adapter. make sure 1 passes audio, 2011 mbp should pass audio on minidp port.
if you're talking older macbook, need minidvi - hdmi adapter , separate mini-jack audio cable. then, on tv, need hdmi port supports auxilliary audio.
