iPod Classic

hey,

bought ipod classic , have few questions (worries):

pictures each option (like music, settings, extras, etc) suppose take second come after scrolling them? quite possibly ridiculous concern, makes whole thing feel laggy sort of.

also, have not had ipod in ages, , when press buttons kind of fast (like backing out of album/song hitting menu 4 times or whatever) makes beep noise (for lack of better description) , can feel moving parts inside of it.

have apple products amongst other electronics , while handle them care not obsessive keeping them "mint" , appreciate build quality.

thing flimsy? mean bought because brick compared other models , i'd able toss around bit (within reason obviously) , not worry crapping out on me.

you realize unlike other ipod on market today, has physical, spinning hard drive? such have access time, can feel "movement", , while tough, can damaged sudden jarring.
