Installing a Second HDD in 2010 iMac with just SSD

so when bought late 2010 imac brand new reseller, happened come 256 ssd option, it's drive, was, , still happy bootcamp partition takes lot of space , full , make bigger, have 50gb left on ssd os x, isn't if need work large files, , i'm trying find out whether can install standard 1tb drive second drive act partly second os x hdd , hold bootcamp partition, have external hdd can't use bootcamp.

i've been looking on web , searching these forums, can't seem find relating scenario this, have been able find out appears if purchase imac apple both drives, ssd goes in special mount installed in instance. if have standard hdd, need mount , special cables add ssd.

mean imac has ssd has installed in special mount empty space can easy install regular hdd? or ssd installed in regular hdd slot, making adding drive difficult?

if answer question save me taking imac apart find out, i'd grateful, cheers.

second drive in imac

i'm interested in doing same thing in imac, in reverse. want install ssd , keep factory installed hdd. there's bit of controversy how feasible , if voids warranty. alternative replacing factory installed hdd ssd , plugging in usb-ported hdd content. worry slow down though because input speeds slower internally installed sata hdd.

let's see if experts here can enlighten us.

luck.
