How Do I Display My MacBook Pro on my iMac?

i have 13inch mid 2009 pro , 24inch 2008 mac.

want display pro on larger screen mac. can done , cables might needed?

read of apple site instructions became when confused when "computer". had no idea if referring mac or pro.

 

do have link instructions?

anyway, 27" imac can used display directly, purposes either screen sharing* (system preferences > sharing), or airdisplay.

* allows control 1 mac other, not use 1 mac extended display other.
