Finder arrange by kind issues

hi,

when arrange files kind in finder, movie , music files (with correct extensions - mp4, mp3, avi) clubbed under kind "documents". info identifies file types correctly. pdfs appear under documents instead of pdf documents. others folders, images, spreadsheets, presentations categorised correctly.

tips on how fix appreciated.
