so, i've come point need buy external drive mbp. i'm running out of storage , able store photos & possibly maybe movies itunes on it, , possibly documents need keep don't use often. i'd want store of these current things on go ahead , store new documents, movies, etc. on it, too. i've never, ever had hard drive before , thinking of portable 1 in either 750 gb or 1 tb i'd have plenty of storage. have mid-2010 mbp, 2.66 ghz intel core 2 duo, 4 gb 1067 mhz ddr3, 320 gb hard drive, running lion & bootcamp windows xp. don't know if need of there go.

hard drive recommended want? don't want spend crazy amount on (between $100-150 if possible).

i'm computer savvy have never ever had use external hard drive before. ever. (don't laugh!) want use for, work save stuff /transfer stuff similar when need transfer stuff usb flash drive or more complicated?
said, i'm newbie @ external drives please kind!
