sleep machine or do you switch it off? (mid 2011)

so wondering guys switch mini macs off @ night or let them sleep? i've switched mine off tonight let have real cool down, it's been on days , seems hot evening! fry egg on it! .. longer machine life? sleep mode or switch off?

 

i never turn mine off.
