4G on an iPhone 4?

did search, , couldn't find anything. ip4 on verizon of course 3g. philadelphia has 4g coverage now, , buddy's droid bionic picks up. gets "4g" @ top of phone. mine still says 3g. ip4 capable of receiving 4g?

 

the iphone 4s 3g device. on at&t display 4g when on hspa+ network, misleading label since hspa+ not true 4g.
