Office 2010 Windows key in on Mac version

purchased microsoft office 2010 professional windows though home use program year go , converted both computers mac obvious reasons. hup allows 1 purchase. can use windows product key microsoft office 2011 mac?

have installer wife's hup purchase of office 2011 mac. need key use on 2nd mac. won't using windows version anymore , have no need but, don't want waste license either. so, figured should allowed.

other options are:
1. can use 1 key on 2 macs?
2. if call microsoft exchange keys me since have legit copy , aren't trying "steal" it?
