thinking 09 mini might have issues, before warranty runs out decided run apple hardware test. applications disk containing apple hardware test can't mounted in mac mini. had force power off , hold down eject key on boot dvd eject.
put in 07 macbook , dvd mounted first time. able copy aht across network , running 09 mac mini.
think have dead optical drive?
applecare warranty runs out in few weeks guess should report apple.
thoughts?
sounds it's faulty - assume other disks fail well? - if you've got applecare on use it.
