Xbox 360 Controller Working on OS Lion 10.7.3


i used wired afterglow ax1 on lion 10.7.3 - added video on youtube here.

1. if have installed version of tattibogle , didn't work download untattie.

2. open terminal , type: sudo sh , press enter, insert password - invisible - , press enter.

3. type again: sudo sh , sure there space after sh.

4. drag , drop untattie file in terminal , press enter.

5. download tattiebogle 0.08 , install it. failed installation installed.

6. download controller list installer.

7. download controller list.

8. go in mac on :apple: menu, click more info , system report. connect controller if haven't done yet , check under hardware, , usb. me under usb high-speed bus, hub had afterglow gamepad. if use original controller might see vendor specific device. click on , in box below see product , vendor id. write down.

9. open controller list file text editor , <key>controller</key> or other key tag contains device name, irrelevant, edited under <key>pdpafterglow</key> because have afterglow controller.

10. see few line below it:
<key>idproduct</key>
<key>idvendor</key>

11. insert in between <integer></integer> tags number wrote down earlier instead of in file. might want check second 'thanks to' link @ bottom if getting confusing.

12. once have done save changes , drag , drop file on automator controller list installer.

13. go in system preferences , go mess xbox controller while you'll joy glee! :)


might want check links @ bottom understand better of steps, guys 2 things combined , made controller working after 4 tedious hours , numerous dead-end research on internet.

second video has steps wireless controller.
