hi all. i'm new mac networking , wondered if there windows c$ equivalent? can connect remote computer's hdd @ root level , manipulate folder structure can on windows network?
windows creates hidden share on drive root on installation , wondered if true on os x?
i use ssh (turn on remote login in sharing preference pane) , cyberduck.
once turn on remote login on remote pc, can open cyberduck on machine, , type "sftp://username@remotepcip" , ask log in, , have access files on machine.
sftp encrypted, makes more secure samba (windows file sharing).
