iPod touch iPod 2g fail No charge

i tried jailbreak ipod greenpoison (rc6 believe) 4.2.1. said couldnt reconize device id, , afterwards exited dfu , not charge. growl says connected itunes doesnt pop used every time plugged in. have tried hard reset , re dfu/exit. causing this, have no idea.

 

nevermind...

restarted old g4 , charges, dug power brick.
