iPhoto failed to import message

each time open iphoto message there 3 photos not imported; next, asks if want import them.... no matter how respond choices, iphoto repeats questions. finally, after twice through annoying drill, iphoto opens. have no clue phantom pics may be.

how can end annoyance? found /user file refers when supposedly saves phantom photos, , deleted references them, next time iphoto, same thing happens....

please help!
