ok i´ve got macbook pro out of warranty , installed new screen. install went fine , seems fine @ startup, see apple icon , looks great. once snow leopard boots getting horizontal lines flickering everywhere , cannot see on screen.
i´ve seen similar posts flickering lines, nothing show after bootup. there must way fix this... apple software update says video driver date. tried messing basic settings on display settings, no luck.
can me explanation this??
if fixed display yourself, quite possible damaged component, ribbon cable, or not tightly seated, i.e., ribbon cable.
possible display unit put in there defective.
software not fix issue, hardware problem.
