Daisy chain WD Mybook 2TB and LaCie 2 Big Tripple 2TB

i have been trying daisy chain these 2 drives , have not had luck. i've tried using firewire , usb , changing order drives connected. in 1 order, both drives wake first drive shows up. can't second 1 ever show up.

wd mybook 1 display on front , lacie 2008 , has 2 wd 1tb drives in if matters.

ideas?
