ATV3 Mirroring performance

i have original atv , have enjoyed it, picked new model can have options such netflix.

had hoped ipad mirroring give me option of hulu, when router, atv3, , ipad 2 in same room, mirroring performance nothing short of awful. audio continues fine, image freezes ten seconds @ time, plays bit, freezes again.

there doesn't seem network issue (i can simultaneous video on ipad hulu , atv netflix without hitch). it's mirroring seems issue.

wrong expect mirroring provide watchable video? there i'm missing?
