Apple and Proview Face Off in Shanghai Court Over iPad Trademark

while proview has had success in battle against apple's use of "ipad" trademark in china minor court decisions against local retailers, 2 companies going directly head-to-head in higher-profile case underway in shanghai. there has been no decision in case yet, lawyers both sides spent 4 hours today laying out evidence presiding judge. reuters notes apple has gone on offensive citing impact on chinese economy if ipad sales halted, given ipad's massive popularity , proview's current lack of product offering under name.
