What do you do when you have hard time focusing reading a book?

my classes require reading lots of book chapters. how keep focus? drift off i'm reading. takes long time me read. if sustain focus throughout readings no matter how takes.

 

i found easier stay focused if reading anywhere other home (too many distractions there), school library, park. if has home, sugary beverage , bright lights trick me.
