Mac setup for a doctor

looking advice regarding mac setup work. in effort narrow down on best setup i've included below attributes want in system , of tasks i'll need perform. advice appreciated.

1. system needs mobile/desktop hybrid. start day @ desk review charts observe events night before, lab results, interoffice communications, etc. following completion of these activities, need able take system me in order round throughout hospital manipulating charts, placing orders, , referring lab results.

2. need multiple displays. work several programs @ once need see entirety of such x-rays or cat scan images, electronic patient records, literature searches, etc. flipping , forth through tabs time consuming , difficult given work flow.

3. need physical keyboard. work hospital department consultant , have beta tested ipad rounding work , unfortunately while great output device when comes hardcore data input falters , placing keyboard case on ipad makes underpowered air.

4. need able sync data automatically between mobile , desktop workspaces upon return rounding. not want have physically move documents, bookmarks articles, etc. , forth between devices takes of time , me time precious commodity.

5. desktop setup still function without mobile component , vice versa. if reason slip office without overnight or unexpectedly can still perform operations without mobile component. i.e.. simple docking station laptop out.

6. absolute speed or computing power not necessary. noted majority of work in text , document editing/review. won't editing graphics, movies, or large files files stored on hospital server.

here's thoughts far on system, i'm not sure how make work together.

1. pair of 27" displays , mac mini vs. 27" imac , 27" display
2. 13" macbook air
3. sort of docking station
4. magic mouse , wired keyboard

looks macbook air , displays best bet. have 13 inch mba , it, along portability. routinely 6-7 hours of battery life depending on brightness , use. that, along underbolt display , you'll happy.
