CD-RW and SuperDrive

a few days ago attempted burn audio files onto cd-rw had laying around. superdrive on mbp (in description) wasn't able it.

can burn onto cd-r's?

 

the superdrive able burn onto cd-rws, can , and did. cd-rw empty? did erase via disk utility yet?
