hey guys, i'm trying install windows 7 on 2011 imac friend (using mac os 10.6.8). formatted drive , did fresh install of snow leopard on 1tb drive. though it's formatted single partition (journaled), it's still giving error "startup disk cannot partitioned or restored single partition, must formatted single mac os extended volume..."
why telling when indeed formatted single partition? i've read other threads people having trouble because had lots of large files on hard drives, that's not case here because there's nothing on hard drive.
