foolishly tried fix broken lock/power button today on iphone 4 , after i'd put again screen doesn't work!
turn on , see lines down screen.
checked connectors on logic board , they're fixed fine. spent 6 hours today trying fix it.
phone's out of warranty, if visit genius , discovered phone this, allow me buy replacement? think it's £120?
also, how able check warranty if can't check on phone?
you can out of warranty replacement, if you're willing pay it. no need lie.
iirc, 1 of ribbons can stripped when open iphone (i think it's ribbon #3....don't know if affects screen). also, may think have ribbons connected, when close it, might coming off. anyway, did something, or screen wouldn't that.
