i'm playing portal 2 on mac mini (2 ghz, i7 server) , friend suggested play co-op.
question:
i've watched youtube videos state headset not needed. true? also, if headset mini recommend? sort of htmac , sofa around 6' ~ 8' away mini in entertainment center.

to answer question, not play co-op without headset. being able speak partner in science indispensable. quite hard complete test chambers without spoken communication, imo. per headsets...i use bt headset phone, works fine.
fyi, in future there gaming section can post threads in.
