logic board compatibility

i've stripped down imac (2008 c2d 3.06ghz) have either faulty logic board or graphics card.
logic board has 820-2301-a written on top.......after doing abit of research seems board number used in alot of of 24" c2d imacs have different part numbers depending on cpu speed. (i need 661-4667)
know if logic boards 2.2,2.4,2.8 (661-4666) imacs work in 3.06ghz imac?

i'm asking cause found cheap logic board on ebay has same board number mine 2.4ghz imac. i'm hoping can install cpu , graphics card on new board , away go.
