so backed old 3g, thing did because died today. have 4s. went restore old backup 1 in there old backup. thing thought happen copied backup mobilesync folder.
after replacing old backup 1 did last night, itunes still doesn't recognize in there. thought maybe acting funny restored it, it's pulling old backup instead of new one.
question is, how can itunes pull new backup have? figured it, , thought following right steps once again apple's backup , restore feature fails.
anyways, in advance.
this happened me when iphone 4s needed replacement due cracked screen, realized phone not upto date , once updated newest ios version new backups available me restore from.
