Hackintosh Updates

i have lt2016u gateway hackintosh(snow leopard 10.6)/linux ubuntu, , have installed snow leopard on chameleon 2-rc3. though have 10.6 haven't been able update past 10.6.1; system update, downloading updater, update installed fine, when go reboot chameleon screen comes , select hard drive restarts. i've been looking everywhere , no results. no other bootloader i've tried helps.

i think subscribed wrong forum. should have @ insanelymac.com. not don't want there more regarding hackintoshes on specific forums
