i've got 2011 late macbook pro 15" i7 running lion. now, i've been out of loop quite time (used big on pc gaming, performance etc) , i'm sure mbp isn't performing well.
itunes full screened -
i've got around 2500 tracks in library scrolling horrendous, it's not slide show i'd playing game @ 15 fps. feels slow , inaccurate.
this happens when no apps running , when lot running.
surely after paying £1.3k should expect super fast? i'm pretty sure godknows how old q6600 2gb windows 7 rig runs faster.
compare, ipad 2 on safari - when flick down, it's super slick, feels fluid , accurate - feels more 50 fps.
nb.
when scrolling slow don't mean how fast page scrolling , down - how smooth appears.

fast when app running open itunes, firefox (with few tabs open) clicking on event/album result in 1 or 2 sec delay before opens , general laggy sluggish feel it.
normal? don't want have close down when want organise few photos.
i'm going go local apple store compare doesn't feel right
