Did I fry my new G4?

i got old g4 ebay having logic board problems. afternoon took off bottom plate try re-solder chip seems commonly problem. after completing procedure, put heat shield on bottom protect bottom of board flip right side up. plugged in power cable , pushed power button. spark flew metal frame heat shield , went quiet. adapter no longer glowing , can't response. have done , fixable? i'm super bummed, enormously appreciated.

it sounds electricity found shorter path ground. spark saw. fried it. knows electricity went , destroyed when got there.

maybe you're lucky , else knows more know (plenty do).
