how connection works? uses wi-fi network or make direct connection between devices?
ask because room bit far away router , wi-fi signal here not great. in room have mac, , it's wired far away router. want buy apple tv use in room, use airplay mirror feature of mountain lion. performance of bad because of crappy signal?
not i'm asking airplay. i'm pretty sure other functions use internet going affected distance.
plan buy signal repeater soon...
airplay uses wifi network. hence, name: airplay. naturally, wifi signal strength , reliability important factor.
