Intel 520 Series 120GB SSD, enable TRIM?

here is, question regarding modern ssds , trim. i've read several threads in forum regarding topic, other forums , anandtech's reviews, i'm still confused. opinions , facts seem differ.

i've bought , installed intel 520 series 120gb in macbook pro 7,1 (13'', mid-2010). , running in no time , works flawlessly , amazingly fast, btw. question whether should enable trim or not. opinions yes, it's useful manage deleted files , ssd not lose speed. others no, modern ssds have own garbage collection capable of doing itself. it's draw. maybe doesn't make big difference, seek advice clueless.

edit.: btw, use lion (10.7.3).

 

my advice unless doing tons , tons of big rewrites drive every day (almost using drive manual cache huge files), won't need trim.

sandforce drives have excellent garbage collection capabilities, shouldn't need it.
