Bible/Rich text app

i try make app similar bible app, include number of books, navigation through them , searching. question best way deal lots of rich text? should nsattributedstrings? or else? number of well-formatted books in 1 app... or should html , webviews? or rtf?

what platform for? why not use ibooks author instead, , free? if os x, perhaps use pdf.
