Screenshot capture of movie is blank

is there anyway capture screenshot of streaming movie, or itunes trailer played on mac? i've tried using grab, shift, command , 3 , quicktime screen recording, end movie portion being blanked out. assume because of protected video settings?

 

i can screen-shoot frame trailer apple played in qt player x via cmd+shift+4 > spacebar.
