Extremely Slow MBP 15" mid-2010

personally, i'm not knowledgable benchmark testing, top 2010 15" mbp shouldn't beaten 2004 powerbook, know much!
geekbench results seems whats expected. not sure difference of 2 tho. , computer slow joke!

i'm experiencing computer locking / freezing quite often. doesn't have heavy on load. can example running spotify whily browsing web (3-5 tabs open). can freeze ages, need hard shutdown pressing power button 10sec.

• 
  tried reinstall lion w/o success (though not clean/fresh install); using recovery hd.

• i reset pram/nvram, reset smc, none success still see problem.

• i tried disable graphic switching - both through preferences gfxcardstatus.

• my hdd has 300gb of 500 free.

bought mbp in april 2010 warranty has expired, without being skilled enough make judgment; i'm still quite convinced there has hardware issue.

here experiencing same issues / knows how resolve or better situation?

million! because feels slower asus eee netbook :/

subjective view: seems in cases of running browser + media; spotify/vlc/chrome/firefox
