i've been having problem syncing music ipod touch (running ios 5.0.1) itunes 10.5.3. mac running lion 10.7.3. problem itunes not re-syncing music ipod when file changes on computer. example change metadata (adding new cover art or that). in case, copy on ipod not updated latest changes on mac. in order re-sync, have remove updated music files ipod , re-add it. not using "manually manage music" feature, using regular syncing (using series of master playlists manually update choose content load onto ipod manage multiple ipods 1 master itunes library). has run before? if so, fix (if there one)?

syncing ipod touch
had similar issue. create new or modify existing playlist, sync ipod touch (4th gen) , ten discover on ipod, songs missing or tracks in different order created in playlist. happened many times, many playlists.
on weekend, decided restore itouch original config , in process ios 5.1 loaded onto it. either restore or 5.1 version fixed problem.
maybe work well.
