second monitor shade

i'm having problems windows in second monitor (using mbp). when drag window between monitors dark shade appears on edges. when it's in second monitor shade disappears, in few apps shade stays there. when drag mbp it's gone , reappears on second monitor.

not apps have problem. i've noticed on iwork '08 package, textwrangler, eclipse , coda. had problem vmware, update fixed it, made me think software old cause iwork '08 isn't updated anymore. textwrangler, eclipse , coda have latest versions.

second monitor it's happening on samsung syncmaster 2443. same happens on 2443bw, works fine on third different syncmaster. might driver problem, automatically on mac have no idea how restore those.

edit: restarting didn't solve in first place, after connecting dell @ home, restarting , connecting again samsung it's solved. though still don't know caused it.

 

i'm having same problem , can't seem find information outside of thread. i'm on mbp (mid-2010) 10.7 (all latest updates) , running second hp compaq la2405wg monitor. i'm using apple mini displayport dvi adapter second monitor. same "shading" on windows when moving them mbp screen on hp monitor. shading go normal once in focus, menu bar across top in constant state of shading , every , shading doesn't leave window.

it's of pain can see in example, not shaded, fonts @ lower resolution. fonts biggest gripe. find problem comes , goes restarts, haven't gotten rid of altogether.

resolution problem, or has else noticed similar problems?
