iPod 4th gen iOS 5 sync on iBook PPC MAC ! Apple says no but..

numerous times have been told no cannot sync new ipod touch 4th gen ios 5 ppc chip g4 ibook.
have searched find nothing regarding anywhere.....
10+years long mac user , great news me old ppc ibook 1.33ghz osx 10.5.8 itunes 10.5.3...

notice features such airsync dulled out far music , apps have done well.

btw has else noticed itunes mispelled itune , on remote app set-up

happy.
