Move objects in Premiere Pro

he,

found somewhere on internet, i'm lazy around , can't right search words. if answer me, nice.

in premiere pro i'm doing these ken burn effects photos. i'm moving them around, zooming in. have lower third , text layer. in left window i've got "effect control" panel opened, in right footage. split left window showing both effect control panel , original footage that's in timeline.

problem follows; click on photo in timeline. click on viewer window (which gets yellow border). apparently select highest layer (text layer in case) when want move around, move text layer around, not photo.

it's frustrating, want grab photo , move around. what's way of doing this?

figured out can click small icon in effect window. ofcourse way quicker, there way select layer , instantly able grab (with normal mouse, not hand tool) , move around?

reading, appreciated.

edit
since i'm asking; know how can go through edits in final cut pro 7 using , down buttons? set premiere pro final cut pro keyboard layout, never (sometimes does, can't when) reacts, skips next/previous cut when use these buttons. knows i'm doing wrong?

likely, isn't selected properly. make sure double click on clip (photo) in timeline. ensure clip still selected in timeline, , should able manipulate wireframe.

you have have track selected in patch panel on left side of timeline go previous/next edit. if clip on v2, , want go previous/next edit, make sure v2 selected.
